Joseph Hollander & Craft LLC
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Figma, Blender | November–December 2024 | Branding Project for Design Firm Application
I was given a "designer test" to rebrand Joseph Hollander & Craft LLC, a law firm with an outdated visual identity. The task was to create a modern, polished logo with an icon, cleaner fonts, and a refined color palette (blue and gold). Deliverables included a branding deck with logo, typography, collaterals, and a landing page design. I began by sketching logo ideas, refining based on feedback, and expanding into a cohesive brand identity.

Once the final logo concept was established, I explored several variations, adjusting outlines, typography placement, and color reversals to create a cohesive and clean look. This approach captured the essence of the assignment, and the recruiter appreciated it. From there, I expanded into creating brand collateral, ensuring the logo translated seamlessly across various elements.

Building on the alternate logo variations, I moved on to designing signage, packaging, and business cards. Each piece was crafted to maintain a cohesive visual identity while ensuring that the brand's modern and polished feel was reflected across all collateral.

Once the branding was complete, I moved on to creating the Figma prototypes, which I consider some of my best work. By using a grid system, I carefully laid out the UI/UX elements, modernizing the outdated and overly traditional website. The result is a refreshed design that aligns with the design firm's goal of modernizing law firms, showcasing an integration of animations and brand elements.

Overall, this project required a significant amount of effort and dedication. It was a designer test I completed to get noticed by a design firm I was applying to, and I made sure to go all out. It was important to me to fully invest in this, and the result demonstrates what I can accomplish with a few days of hard work and motivation.
